Clear Harbor Asset Management Welcomes the Security Asset Management Team
Stamford, Connecticut—Clear Harbor Asset Management is pleased to announce that Security Asset Management (“SAM”) joined the firm during Q2 2023.
SAM was led since its founding in 1990 by Jim Taliaferro. Prior to founding SAM, Jim worked in senior leadership positions at Kidder Peabody, Webster Management, White, Weld & Company, Edwards & Hanly, and Dominick & Dominick.
Jacques Cattier has been with SAM for over 25 years where he managed portfolios for individuals and institutions. As portfolio manager, Jacques worked on the investment selection and management of the firm’s “Emerging Blue Chip” equity strategy, an endeavor which he will proudly continue here at Clear Harbor.
Security Asset Management is now a division of Clear Harbor. Mr. Taliaferro and Mr. Cattier will continue to manage wealth for individuals, families, and institutions with the additional benefit of expanded asset management and wealth management resources and services across a firm with 19 professionals.
